When I’m ready to render I usually have multiple compositions to output. Rather than adding the compositions individually to the Render Queue Panel I put them all into a single composition and render that instead. Okay, that’s pretty straightforward: you select the compositions in the Project panel, drag them onto the New Composition icon (at the bottom of the EffectControls Panel), choose the Sequence Layers option and finally render. But what if you want them to render in a specific order?
If you Command (Mac) Control (PC) click the compositions in the Project panel in the order you want them to be sequenced, then drag them to the New Composition icon, you’ll get a new composition with the layers sequenced in the order that you clicked them. And remember this doesn’t just apply to compositions, you can sequence any kind of footage item. Watch tip
