Here’s a neat background based on Knoll Light Factory. It’s basically 2 different flares; the top flare’s Angle property has been animated, with CC Time Blend used to soften and spread the rays. The bottom flare has been distorted using Turbulent Displace to give it a spooky feel, this also makes the large glow flare in the background look kind of like smoke. Download project

Looks GREAT! except I had the following errors after downloading and opening in AE:
- Install the following effects to restore these reference “Light Factory”
- 1 Rendering plug-in was not found (Standard 3D). The default rendering plugin will be substituted.
- 1 File is missing (didn’t say which one)
I did notice the the Drifting Smoke.mov and 150793_9992.jpg did not preview properly (like it was missing the rendered file)
Is this something you can provide me so I can see this. Thank you!

Hi Vicky, all this time no one told me. I must have uploaded the wrong file. I’ve tweaked it and reposted.
