In this tutorial I demonstrates how to use Final Cut Pro to create this motion graphics animation, using Trapcode products combined with various Final Cut Pro settings. Yes, it was a little strange creating this in Final Cut Pro but overall I’d say it was a good experience. Even if you don’t use FCP you might find it useful. Watch tutorial

Loved the tutorial. I’m a Final Cut Pro user and this lesson was pretty insightful. Quick question. How did you create the glass texture for the Red Giant logo in Pro Animator?

Glass is pretty easy to create in ProAnimator/3D Invigorator by dropping the material Transparency setting and using a reflection map such as punchy reflections. I also used a bump map to add some texture.

i loved that tutorial and a question came to me. You make that kind of stroke effect using the “Membrane” effect in FCP. I also noticed that effects in your DVD Trailer (i bought it and hoped to see a tutorial on it, but no ! :/).
How can you reproduce that Membrane effects on AE7 Pro (or AE CS3) ? i haven’t found anything similar in AE
