In my tutorials I’m always recommending experimentation as a way of getting comfortable with the After Effects tool set. After quite some time I finally got around to just sitting and playing myself – specifically with Shape Layers — and the result is some interesting looks. Download project

Hey John, Thanks for sharing this amazing Project .. ALL tutorials you show us are Great !! For this tutorial ,i found one small part of the finished movie ( between 3 ~ 4 Seconds ) looks like some Mosaic effect.. Did you make it on purpose ?? Is that able to make it (just that part ) as soft as the last few seconds ??? I mean make the movie look smoothly ?? Any feedback would be appreciated ..

Hi Jerry, I was just playing around with different parameters to see what came up. Some of the transitioning between shapes is a bit jerky but I thought I’d let you guys take it where you wanted. Might be nice to Brainstorm as well.

hi john!this particular tutorial helped me a lot. i think it is really surprising how much you can do once you get comfortable with the after effects tool set.
When i saw your work it just hit me if i can just familiarize myself with the after effects then it would be easier for me get the finish that i visualized.
looking forward to more tips
