using the Colorama effect as a range selection tool, allowing adjustments to specific
aspects of the footage.

creating a simple slide show then covers amazing, time-saving techniques for automating
transitions between layers using expressions.

Keep in mind that there are at least 6 tutorials that don’t use 3rd party effects.

Even without 3rd party plugins you get get a lot out of the tutorials that use them. And most of Trapcode plugins can be easily replaced by their build-in alternatives or some other 3rd party plugins.
I’m not a big fan of installing and using additional plugins, because I believe that AE provides you all the tools that are required to any kind of work, but Trapcode plugs are actually very very good and they cen speed up things quite a bit.
I personally recommend them.

Wow, this volume is great. Way better than volume 4. I love the first 3, but the 4 make me a lil bit disappointed.

What did you find disappointing about MILG 4?
