Welcome to the new, bigger, badder Motionworks website. Thanks for your patience while we’ve been getting everything in order. As you’ll notice we’ve undergone quite a transformation, or as I like to say, Motionworks has grown up. I learned a lot about blogging and websites in general in the 4 years that Motionworks 1.0 was online.
I’ve designed the site with you the reader in mind, there is very little visual clutter, with a light color scheme that makes reading posts easier. Major catergories such as Tutorials, Tips, Downloads, News and Gallery have been separated into individual pages to make it easier to find what you are looking for. Use the Tag Cloud to zero in on a specific area that interests you. There’s also a new gravatar system, so when you leave a comment be sure to go and grab a gravatar so we can put a face to your words.
You’ll also notice we now have a shop and the best way to support Motionworks and allow us to give you great free content is to pick up our great products. Those of you who are aware of makingitlookgreat.com will be pleased to know we have combined that site with Motionworks.
A big thanks to Nick Sergeant who built the site and Maltaannon who did some mean scripting.
So go ahead, look around and enjoy our resources (if you find any broken links be sure to leave a comment). And don’t forget to subscribe to the newsletter for special offers and other subscriber privileges. I’m off to write my next post.
