Hi Anthony, it's more a case of finding the right hosts. I'm more than happy to make 7, 8 and 9 all at once but want to make sure the quality is right also.

This series has been incredibly successful. Great content. Ever think of just starting your own full production line, like fxPHD et al do? That way you can have a lot of your friends all doing their things at the same time, instead of waiting in line to do a numerical version of MILG? I'd buy as many as I can :D

John, please continue with your c4d tips and tutorials and don't switch to another 3d sofware package. You and Tim are two of the only sources who regularly update content regarding c4d. There is tons of Maya and 3DS books and tutorials out there already. C4d caters more to the motion graphics community and your tips and Tim's Xpresso tutorials are an invaluable source of information. Can't wait for MILG 6. Thanks.

I agree and echo what john and Josh spoke of regarding the standard use of C4D as a 3D app in Broadcast motion work.
As an Autodesk Certified Maya user since the Power Animator days, (yes.. I'm old), I'm finding that learning and using C4D has opened up a TON more job opportunities for me.

Thanks again John for making this, and i hope more C4D dvds will be available by you even after I release my baby seal hostage for the 5th copy of MILG6:)

boohahaha.... :)

Hello Tony to continue what John was saying. The series will focus on building 'serious' looking broadcast designs. In the world of motion graphics the most used compositing application is AE and the most used 3D app is C4D. Not to mention C4D has the best out of the box integration with AE. So a MILG covering AE and C4D with host Tim Clapham makes beautiful sense to me!

Hi Tony, Why C4D? Because C4D has a wide user base (including me) and has renowned integration with After Effects. I found that the training available for C4D and AE is pretty scattered around the Net, with probably the best examples on Cineversity but costing 300 bucks to get access to. So it was a no brainer for me create a MILG title. Plus having arguably one if not the best C4D/AE operator on the planet hosting the training is amazing. I'm certainly keen to explore how other apps integrate with AE. I have possible Maya and Max hosts already.

Why C4D? I hope he will explain the greater benefit of using Cinema 4 over another 3D application. If its just his preference, then maybe you can open up a whole new line of training that integrates AE with other professional level tools like Maya, Vue, Realflow, and my favorite -Houdini.

Always a nice day when I hear a new MILG is coming out.
