Peder Norrby is the mastermind behind Trapcode. A gentle genius with a passion for art, music and programming. In this rare video interview, Peder reveals how this passion lead him to create arguably the most popular plug-ins for Adobe After Effects in the world today, including Shine, Particular and Form. Peder also reveals where the ideas for many of these plug-ins evolved and speaks honestly about his influence on the motion graphics industry today and the pressures that come with success.

Thanks for all of your plugins Peder! Really insightful interview John.
You were spot on about trapcode shaping the industry style, I can’t imagine what we’d be doing without particular, starglow and form.
Personally they’ve become staple tools that have brought me alot of joy, helped me on creative and commercial projects and allowed me to make a career out of something I love to do.

Another feather in your cap John, bravo.
I love that this guy found his passion at such an early age and has maintained a calm, zen like steadiness in his appraoch to business and life. The admission that his major stress resulted from a desire to provide quality support for his product is admirable.

Nice interview John, your a Pro. Fantastic guest list. Peder is a very chilled cat.
Trapcode is awesome, I use the plug-ins for loads of projects, still learning my
way around them. Peder’s face kept morphing? My mobile phone does that when
I take photos of myself. Maybe I’m not the only alien hybrid using After Effects.
Looking forward to the 10th offspring. Cheers guys.
