There’s also a very useful expression which I forgot to mention in the tip. It works with the Bulge Center property and allow you to synchronizes the Bulge Center of the Bulge effect in one layer with the position of another layer.
fromWorld(thisComp.layer(“Magnifier”).position)
Read more about it here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AfterEffects/9.0/WS3878526689cb91655866c1103906c6dea-7a14a.html

I really do enjoy these quick A-Z tips, they have opened up so many new ideas and techniques. I guess i have never stopped and seriously looked at certain individual effects and their settings, instead i just concentrate on the certain ones i regularly use.
It would be great when this A-Z series is complete if it is released as a DVD – such a valuable resource.
Great Stuff!!!!
