A big congratulations and thank you to everyone who entered the Unplugged title challenge. You all made a huge effort and deserve praise for having the courage to showcase your skills, no matter what your skill level. If you’d like to discuss your entry feel free to contact me.
Rather than just choosing the winner to finish this challenge now, I wanted to share with you what we feel are the top contenders, and use this as an opportunity to discuss the entries and who you feel should take out the title and why.

Glad to be one of the 10! Nice to see so many entries in different designs. And good to see how people pic up an audio track and create their own thing. Some sticked to the motionworks look, some used their fantasy. My personal favorite Tony Zagoraios (besides my own entry ofcourse
), Did not even make it to last 10.

I would pick Renzo Reyes. It looks more appealing and professional. My second choice would be Hakan Acarel but it needs some adjustments.
December 8, 2009 at 1:50 am |
Hi Jaxon, as this is a learning forum I’m interested to hear what those “adjustments” might be. Can you share your thoughts with us? Best, John.
December 8, 2009 at 5:03 am |
I hadn’t watched Telli Narcizo’s submission, I think it is among the best three.
December 8, 2009 at 1:54 am |
i like Robert Leger.
December 8, 2009 at 2:02 am |
Hi John, it is my great pleasure that you’ve replied to my post. My suggestion would be as those block come together, each one should have one of the segments hosted in Motionworks. Thank you very much, Jaxon.

Great feedback Jaxon, thanks for taking the time. Best, John.

(Telli’s is not linking up. Can’t make a final decision)
Wow! They are all so freakin’ great! It’s a hard decision.
I’m leaning towards a more simplistic graphic style here based on the simple format of the show itself. Two people chatting with minimal editing.Granted they are chatting about whiz bang technology – still – just my opinion.
Let see. There is something very appealing to me in the top down graphic styling and simplicity (in relation to the 3D work) that Justin Gundlock’s piece brings to the table. The tone of the blue is very soothing and his finished logo with the U and the N in the blue circle and particles coming off it – is just nice and clean and professional. On the negative side the middle part with the “movers and shakers” is on screen for just a little too long upseting the flow a bit. I love the way the letters interact but .. it feels sluggish for a moment. To end on a positive note. The whole design feels unique and personal.
I love Renzo’s tempo and creative use of shapes and space and graphic elements – I’m just not crazy about the color pallete. Totally subjective on my part. It’s a great piece.
In the more abstract category –
I love the use of DOF in Hugo Goudswaard’s. Also, the Aqua on Red is very appealing to me. I’ve watched it several times and I’m confused as to what I’m seeing at the very end. Still great work.
Alessandro Mazza’s is really something out of the ordinary. Very intriguing. At the end (that last few frames) however, I feel it abruptly takes me to a different style all together – almost feels like a jump cut to another piece –
Dru Trasco’s is really special. I would be hard pressed to say why I wouldn’t pick it. Colors are nice. Simple yet intricate – is that possible? Good work.
You gotta hand it to Max Goodrich for making it all inside AE. I love the robot and the little robot chorus. Colors are great and the timing is perfect. For the purposes of this show however i feel it’s a little much – that’s to vague – all I can say is I wouldn’t be expecting the kind of the show that comes afterwards – His piece stands on it’s own. He might consider making it the opening to his own show about those robots. I would watch that.
Isreal, Hakan and Robert’s 3D work is awesome! I love the reflections and the tempo and I really like how both Robert and Hakan left a place to introduce the guest each week. Some of the graphic elements look a bit “common” – I can’t think of another word for what I mean. If I had to choose from these 3 I would go with Isreal’s. But I’m not entirely crazy about the “amount” of text he used. Still spectacular work from all 3 of these artists.
Those are my “crappy” opinions. Please understand that I love all of them. Sincerely. Plus I reserve the right to come back and opine further – LOL –
Rock on!

Thanx Hugo..Im afraid my own entry was too abstract..
I wish good luck to all the guys ou there!!
December 8, 2009 at 4:59 am |
Ohhh wow! Okay! Teli’s link is working now. Really, really nice. All the elements are appropriate to the content of the show and the motion moves with the score without overwhelming the viewer. The opening with the light creating depth on the text with shadow very cool. I like the darkish slate blue pallete even though it’s fairly ordinary choice. The feature move for me was the very elegant warp/wrap with the bulge effect (?) on the climactic buzz sound. Tremendous. Only knock is that I recogonize some common action film Heads Up Display influences but….you’ve made them your own and applied them nicely to this challenge. Very, very good work.
December 8, 2009 at 5:06 am |
Just a last note…
I think challenge briefing was saying not to use the unplugged icon…
Keep on guys
December 8, 2009 at 2:30 pm |
Hi Antonis, that meant the actual logo file that I have already on unplugged. The instructions also included this additional note “If your title works with the existing logo (based on the plug-in icon) we may keep the current logo, but may also replace the logo with your new design.” best wishes, John.
December 8, 2009 at 2:56 pm |
Ok John
Thanx for the answer
Let the best win…

Thank you Jim. Appreciate you comments.
Now I’m rerendering a version with (hopefully) a nicer camera feel.
Thank you once more.

December 8, 2009 at 5:42 am |
Hi everybody,
my first choice actually was Antonis Zagoraios, which obviously didn’t make it to the final batch. Maybe it was just too experimental.
I just loved that retro look that he was able to come up with (combined with 3D). You’re the man Tony, my vote still goes for you!
I’d narrow this round down to this list of 3 (plus a few C&C since we want to start a productive discussion here):
Doru Trascau:
nice look although I think there would have been enough time to build 2 sets of graphics…you know one introductional piece
and then the final stage with the screen…..check out Gmunk’s stuff for example, who imho put keyframing to a whole different level….
14 seconds is a loooooong time to fill up if you’re thinking in keyframes
Telli Narcizo:
first of two entries, that actually feels like the artist had a concept in mind before even starting After Effects (or whatever was used).
I like the idea of the magnifying glass…like everything about motion graphics is being analyzed in detail…which is true….also the
analog touch that feels like reflecting the current trend of all that fingerwipe-multitouch-control-stuff….lovely.
Plus there has been some extra effort of color correction and overall polishing…it’s the little things that make an animation taste good
in the end.
I just would have jumped over to another glass (obviously there is one on each side of the logo, is it?) in the middle of the animation,
it sticks to this one glass just a second too long. This also would have underlined that things are being looked at from different perspectives
on the show.
Renzo Reyes:
great overall look…nice use of abstract forms and sound driven animation….I just think this movers and shakers thing was too obvious.
But again, this piece has a great concept too….especially the light flare at the end looks very nice.
So my pick would be Telli Narcizo!! (boa sorte!)
Also thoughts on my entry are highly appreciated since I’m always eager on getting better and pursuing my skills.
As for tweaking my entry, here is a slightly different version that I made during the extended deadline:
http://www.vimeo.com/7923283
The camera move still needs some serious work though. I didn’t read the requirements well enough and originally had the idea to put snippets
of the past shows on the little screens. That kind of ruined my concept. I just took this as a chance to test a workflow from C4D to AE, with
compositing the logos on the screens within AE but maintaining the 3D look with reflections.
If you’re interested: extensive use of the compositing and external compositing tag for the positioning of the screen content. Plus an extra
reflection pass on top of each screen (knocked out by the according object buffer pass) put on pin light, to get a little color shift (as seen
in real reflections, especially on glossy surfaces). That way you’re free to put anything on those screens without having to render the whole
shabang again….
if it’s ok to explain the concept behind my entry:
Most entries had taken the word “unplugged” too literal and just…you know…unplugged something…..
I just thought…John with his blog and the show is actually bringing together things that without this show would remain UN-plugged….all this
…you get the idea…
entities all over the world….artists and readers, you and me (as you are reading this right now), Andrew and Aharon,
movers and shakers
so he is actually plugging all this units together, like lego bricks which build this blog and the concept behind the show.
If that makes sense
thank you again John for giving us this great opportunity and being in the final round alone feels like a win already
good luck everybody.
December 8, 2009 at 2:58 pm |
Hi Hakan, thanks for you considered feedback and for taking the time to enter the challenge yourself. Thanks also for giving us all some insight into your thought process behind your entry. I’ll be happy to chat in person (skype) to any and all of the entrants about their entries once the final title is announced. Best, John.
December 8, 2009 at 6:16 am |
Hi JD,
Nearly a perfect TopTen you choose. IMO Renzo Reyes has an awsome design and a nice Idea with pushing and moving his pixels literally. Very close then Telli Narcizo and Doru Trascau, reaaaly nice design, concepts and colorscemes.
But please allow me some critics: I really miss Akseli Tuomivaara´s work in here. IMO he has the best concept – because AE is in the end the one reason/application/issue “unplugged” and motionworks.com is about. Also I think it is very well animated, it fits excellent to the music. He even showed some strong design skill by reusing the AE layers as design elements in a really nice and creative way. To me, a Top 3 work…
Maybee you should have overthought some of the 3D works in the top ten. I think some of them are to slick, to clean not detailed enough.
Tony Zagoraios showed how to do it much better. I miss him also in the Top Ten…
What really bugged me at the whole contest, was that a felt 90% used the Twitch effect (or a similar one) at the humming sound at the end.
But too be honest, I had the same Idea by hearing the audio at first time. Seems like Twitch is the new shine effect now
Anyway, thanks for this great contest Mr.Motionworks – btw. did you do an animation on your own? I thought you twittered somethin about that…
December 8, 2009 at 3:02 pm |
Hi Illd, there are a number of reasons why these are the top 10. Akseli’s entry was indeed strong and demonstrated strong production skill. I may even do a complete critique of every entry and post it for all to see once the final is announced. I agree with you on Twitch, it is certainly becoming “obvious”. Best, John.
December 8, 2009 at 6:32 am |
Huge congrats to everyone who made it here so far!
All the compositions here really deserves to be on the final and it’s hard to choose! Hmmm…
December 8, 2009 at 7:00 am |
Congradulations to all the finalists. This was a fun contest with many very good entries. I’m kind of a stickler for the rules and feel that those entries which used the current unplugged logo, John’s name or image, or the motionwork’s name or logo, really didn’t follow the game plan set out. My favorite out of the finalists would be Izzy Long’s entry. Enjoyed the whole process and hope to see more of everyone’s work all over the net in the future.
December 8, 2009 at 12:28 pm |
Thanks Brett!
December 8, 2009 at 7:45 am |
I vote for Telli Narcizo
December 8, 2009 at 7:47 am |
It’s got to be Robert Leger’s submission for me.
Hits all the right spots!
December 8, 2009 at 8:10 am |
I agree. Robert Leger has to win this challenge!!!
December 8, 2009 at 8:13 am |
WOW! Thanks for the honor of including my entry in the top 10 John:)
After watching all of them, I see now that I gotta stop designing so literally, and design more conceptualy:)
Great work all! John has a TOUGH choice to make!
Personally, I like how Robert Leger & Telli Narcizo took simple concepts and executed them very well.
December 8, 2009 at 8:23 pm |
Great work Izzy, thanks for joining in the challenge. Best, John.
December 8, 2009 at 8:21 am |
I like Justin Gundlock’s
December 8, 2009 at 8:36 am |
Gorgeous work! Robert Leger for me, followed closely by Renzo Reyes.
December 8, 2009 at 9:17 am |
Hey Hakan yours is awesome too. I like that you added room at the end to feature the guest. The bright primary colors, the reflections, the light sweep and static up front on the “plug”, the way the plugs slam into each other (you can feel it). Good stuff all around.
I also turned in a much longer post early this morning with critiques of all the finalists. Everyone featured here should be proud. I’m sure it will be bittersweet to make a final decision but hey sombodies has to be chosen
Rock on!
December 8, 2009 at 9:24 am |
Hey Jim, I would LOVE to see any and all comments regarding my spot:)
Constructive crits are the best way to learn, and always welcomed!
December 8, 2009 at 9:41 am |
Yours is awesome Isreal. I think what I like most about it is the perspective. The word unplugged layed out flat and back in z space with the plug coming out of it, ingenious. All the elements are built well and you effectively use DOF and blown out big space lighting with shiny night life relections. You really create a space. The 3d text elements look great but for the purposes of this contest – for my taste – there are too many of them and the color didn’t spark my imagination. Those are my only knocks. Mind you this is all subjective and just my opinion. Ultimately as I said to begin – great job and I’m in awe.
December 8, 2009 at 12:37 pm |
Rock on! Thanks Jim:)
December 8, 2009 at 9:23 am |
hey Jim…thanks a lot for your input…appreciate it
..I’m sure John will fix that post thing later….it’s the middle of the night over there right now…as I am writing this from Germany …
idea: wouldn’t it be nice to see a making-of screencast of the best 3 entries? it’s a “learning forum” right?
…..let me start Camtasia..just in case….
December 8, 2009 at 9:41 am |
Hey JD, It’s OK mine didn’t get selected but I’ll be a good sport. My best choice is Telli Narcizo. To me it’s complete title sequence. God bless. HK
December 8, 2009 at 8:25 pm |
Hey Hussin, I’ll be doing a complete review and critique of every entry including yours, so hopefully that will help. All the best and thanks again for making the effort.
December 8, 2009 at 11:19 am |
I think that most of these are fantastic and creative – Well done!
However, if I have to vote, I’m voting for Renzo Reyes – his piece has a constant evolution and motion that the other pieces don’t quite have. I feel like his piece is also on target for the tone of the show.
December 8, 2009 at 11:26 am |
My heart belongs to Telli’s !
December 8, 2009 at 12:12 pm |
My list
1. Renzo
2. Telli
3. Doru
But somehow I thought was Robert Bojor’s http://www.motionworks.com.au/unplugged/competition/robert_bojor.mp4. I think he was brave enough to do something totally out of the box and different
Good Luck everyone.
December 8, 2009 at 1:22 pm |
OK, good that you apologized – I thought you already went crazy over there! BTW I really like your piece. In my previous post I said its definitly a Top Ten entry – To me the best of the 3D entries. Great work – keep it going Tony!
December 8, 2009 at 1:46 pm |
Thanks to everybody! I’m really glad people are diggin’ my piece. Best of luck to all the contestants!
December 8, 2009 at 3:32 pm |
Hi! Thanks everybody!
The feedback you guys are giving are great!
My personal favorites are:
Renzo Reyes (I almost give up to finish my entry when I saw this work
Robert Leger
Doru Trascau
Good luck everybody!
December 8, 2009 at 4:23 pm |
oh and guys…since we’re sitting here together already:
also a big shout to Selçuk for his amazing piece of audio….
it was a pleasure to put our visual ideas on top of that…
I heard it like 3 million times throughout production and I still didn’t want to jump off of a building, which pretty much any other audio would make me do aftet hearing it that often
no seriously…fantastic work….çok şahane, abi.
December 8, 2009 at 8:32 pm |
I agree Hakan, it was Selcuk’s audio that got this ball rolling. I hadn’t even asked him to do it, he simply emailed it to me after watching an episode of Unplugged! Thanks Selcuk.
December 9, 2009 at 3:57 am |
You are more than welcome guys!
Unplugged and other series on Motionworks added value to my professional life. It’s an honour to be a part of this!
It is an incredible thing to watch the pieces tweaked to your audio. I was blown away by all these creative people taking such a simple idea and bringing it on a different level.
And Hakan, I am VERY happy that you liked the music and didn’t jump off the balcony because your entry is amazing! Helal olsun abi! =)
December 8, 2009 at 5:14 pm |
Nice works guys, I really liked Justin Gundlock, simple and right to the point, even a new visual identity for Unplugged.
Good job Justin, you have my vote mate.
December 8, 2009 at 6:28 pm |
I like the work of :
Renzo Reyes
&
Telli Narcizo,
Good luck!
December 8, 2009 at 7:30 pm |
Telli Narcizo’s one was my favorite. It has a great look to it that went beyond the color scheme of the usual Unplugged intro, yet isn’t too flashy. I hated how much motion some of the other intro entries had…there is such a thing as too much motion.
December 8, 2009 at 7:49 pm |
I had fun making mine, but didn’t make the cut…this time! need to work on my skills to compete with these top ten contenders.
I like Telli’s use of type, but Renzo’s over all composition.
cheers
December 8, 2009 at 8:38 pm |
Hi Denis, look out for my critique of all entries. I’ll post it when the title holder is announced. Best, John.
December 8, 2009 at 7:52 pm |
I think Max Goodrich’s entry is the best. The amount of time and effort to render all of those detailed and vibrant images in After Effects is incredible. The message is coherent, and the style is sleek and creative. Max Goodrich gets my vote.
December 8, 2009 at 10:33 pm |
My vote is for Renzo Reyes ! I just love the color palette and how the motion works with the music.
December 9, 2009 at 2:30 am |
My favs are Justin Gundlock and Renzo Reyes.
December 9, 2009 at 2:41 am |
Just a little background info on my own piece.
Creating something thats plugged and then gets unplugged. In other words, the plugged thing is the hardware, the unplugged thing is the computer shut of and just talking (the interviews).
First thing I knew when entering this challenge is that I wanted it to be build in C4D, I am a bit new to C4D so this was a nice way to learn and play around with C4D.
Next thing i did is try to come up with some sort of storyline. What is unplugged? So i thought what is unplugged was plugged before
Next I came up with the idea that the plugged ‘thing’ could be something created with more advanced modern techniques, and the unplugged thing with more traditional style (the stopmotion part, shot with iphone!!). First i thought about a kind of amplifier that was plugged in and gets unplugged but i changed that to something more symbolic by just using a solid cube.
At the end of the title opener i wanted to created distance, so one feels its the end and we are going ‘unplugged’. I tried to create a ‘droste’ effect to ‘drift away’ (polaroid, in polaroid, in polaroid..(actually nick cambells shakeitphoto))
After C4D I did colorcorrecting, time remapping, stopmotion and other adjustments in AFX.
If I hade to critique my own piece then I would say that stop motion part with the polariod in my hands could have been done better, maybe that part is not that clear now. The other thing is that I would like to have the ‘ropes’ attached to the plugs swing better. After all, winning or not, I learned and am wiser with C4D, and that was my goal.
My personal favorite was Antonis Zagoraios, but he did not make it to last 10.
Renzo, Robert and Telli are best of these 10
If I had to critique these best 3;
Renzo really has design skills, looks amazing! But is great design enough? Nice typo and design, but whats the story?
Robert made the perfect piece, it looks good, nice story and it matches motionworks style. On the other hand, he could have used this challenge to show his own style and take some risk.
Telli, perfect design and animation, nice glossy look. Maybe during the scanning of the words, something more unexpected could have happened.
But hands up for these 3!
A special mention needs to go out to Akseli Tuomivaara who had the best idea!
The music, was a bit too electronic ‘Mel and Kim’ nineties to me. But is was fun to play around with
Best,
Hugo
December 9, 2009 at 3:00 am |
good point there hugo concerning my clip.
the thing is, as i got aware of this contest only near its end, i never read the initial challenge announcement.. so i thought the design was to be based on the already existing one.
but i think i came up with a good mixture of johns design and my animation style. co-work as you might call it
December 9, 2009 at 4:21 am |
Hi Hugo,
Just an FYI – in case you want to use this method and you’re not aware of it – and now that you explain it I see what you were up to there at the end. Great idea -
There is a Droste effect plug in for After Effects – it’s free – http://www.subblue.com/projects/droste – Here is a great tutorial on how to use it by Carl Larsen – http://library.creativecow.net/articles/larsen_carl/droste_effect.php
December 9, 2009 at 2:49 pm |
thanks Jim!
And yes a was aware of that droste plug in (cs4 only). I started with that plugin but somehow i did not get the desired effect so I decided to give it a try myself (which did not lead to big success either..)
Hugo
December 9, 2009 at 2:31 pm |
Thanks Hugo, I know everyone will appreciate knowing your thought-processes behind your piece which, for the record, was the first entry in the challenge! Excellent work. Best, John.
December 9, 2009 at 2:55 am |
as a participant of this great challenge i feel somehow obligated to choose at least my favourite two entries (apart from my own, of course, hehe) and tell why i’d choose one of them.
1. renzo
PROS: sweet, playful design. soft colours. overall light feeling. fun animations. good choice of font (circle-shapes), except the small “g” looks a bit weird.
CONS: a bit too many different elements. the flare-glow-thing starts off nice, but gets much too bright in the end. different diagonal angles work against each other. don’t like that cursor thing (my taste in general).
2. telli
PROS: first shot is superb! very intense with the lighting and DOF and nice moody colours. main shot has a cool composition of elements that look quite futuristic. cool warp transition to the final shot.
CONS: the main part more or less stays the same. could be more going on there. all in all it looks a bit too andrew-kramerisch. don’t like the green during the warp transition. in the final logo shot the rear framing interferes with the logo.
also, i want to give my congrats to doru for a great design (i also love the flashing effect in the end) and to justin for the typographic animation of his first two shots.
and to be fair, i even want to point out a thing i still don’t like about my own piece: the final logo animation during the distortion sound doesn’t fit the rest of the clip. too blurry and unspectacular. that is something i definetly would want to revisit, if my entry was chosen.
December 9, 2009 at 2:28 pm |
Hi Robert, thanks for the excellent, descriptive feedback, that’s what this industry is all about! Best, John.
December 9, 2009 at 5:37 pm |
I just wanted to say it is an honor to be apart of the finalist group and as a 17 year old who has been practicing film/motion graphics for a few years this means a great deal to me! Like others i would like to discuss my entry and how i went about creating it. The 3d robot was created in after effects only! I actually drew out all of the robot’s parts like the body, eyes, etc. and put the entire robot together through countless rotation of the robot’s parts and pre-compositions. The 3d text was also created in after effects without any third party plug-ins. I used a really cool and simple technique i discovered to give the text the illusion of true 3d depth and to work in almost any camera angle. The robots in suits were created with the intention of being unique and look cool. My goal was to go about creating this video differently using different techniques no matter how hard I had to work. Creating that 3d robot in only after effects took a good amount of time but was worth it to be in the top ten! I now know my mistakes and i needed to keep in mind the current style of the show rather then trying to create something completely new. This music gave me a tech style feel so i just created what i thought matched the music best. Thank you once again!
Everyone did great even if you did not make the top ten. We all probably watched all or most of the entries and we all ended up supporting each other so hats off to John for making such a great community!
My top three choices are:
1. Robert Leger because the design works best with the music and in my opinion captures the style of the show.
2. Renzo Reyes because the design is very clean and also fits the style of the show.
3. Telli Narcizo because he has a great concept and design.
I am very excited to find out the winner! Congratulations to all top ten finalists!
December 10, 2009 at 5:53 am |
Hi JD and company,
In my eyes I think motion design here is the winner, whether it be ae or c4d or whatever,…
In my humble opinion if I had to choose one of them, I would choose Renzo Reyes’s version.
Yours truly,
MARS
December 11, 2009 at 6:12 pm |
Thanks Mars, it’s great to hear how so many people found value in this challenge. Best, John.
December 10, 2009 at 6:22 am |
for me it’s defintly Robert Leger. really cool idea and executoin!
December 10, 2009 at 6:40 am |
my vote goes for
1) doru
good concept, clean execution, strong overall.
it communicates technology and the concept of unplugged well.
2) telli
good clean fx and chroma but a bit slow-paced throughout the middle.
3) renzo
attractive but a bit wrong on the typography side. it says more fashion than anything else
December 10, 2009 at 7:31 am |
Great work everyone!
Hat’s off to Doru and Telli for the great finishing touches, and seamless flow.

December 10, 2009 at 10:24 am |
I really like Justin Gundlocks.
December 10, 2009 at 10:53 am |
These are all so awesome, and the ones that didn’t make it in were awesome as well. It’s picking between awesome and awesome.
I like Renzo Reyes the most because it shows what your show is about with out going overboard with 3D. Which is what your site seems to be about, mostly AE and some 3D. Plus the type is spot on!
From the 3D side I really like Robert Leger’s work. The spot is so clean and the colors so perfect.
December 10, 2009 at 7:01 pm |
renzo’s is definitely the most baller.

All great pieces here in the top ten. When I saw the first batch with Hugo Goudswaard’s 3D cube and Akseli Tuomivaara’s AE screen in layers of 3d space, I knew I didn’t have a chance. The talent out there is phenomenal but I thought I would see if I could at least bring my imagination to some sort of tangible animation. I really enjoyed the excersize and seeing what concepts others came up with.
Even better is reading all the critiques and thoughts of these top picks, looking at each one myself and picking out the qualities that make them stand out in my mind, a great learning experience.
David Kopidlanski’s didn’t make the cut but I liked his also. The top four of this group for me (not necessarily in this order) would be Israel Long, Renzo Reyes, Hakan Acarel and Telli Narcizo.
John I look forward to your comments after you choose the winner and I again appreciate the opportunity to participate in this exercise. It was exciting for me just to see my work on your site!
Thanks again and kudos to everyone who particpated!

doru trascau really managed to point out the key elements for the site and in the same metalish look that we’re used to seing here on the site and i like the emphasis on the ‘motion’ ‘graphix’ boards. they really stand out. simple and to the point. and his updated vid is now a bit more dynamic.i think he’s done the best job on keeping in line with the site’s theme

Hello. There are so many great videos in hear, but only one of them really stands out in terms of telling a story: Robert Legers. It builds tension from the beginning and holds it till the very end when the logo is revealed. And in between there’s so much going on in perfect timing with the sound. And of course, it looks amazing.
Oh and JD: great website, man! Next contest I’m in
