I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed.
Great top 3 although I don’t appreciate Saul destroying Atlantic Ocean.
(just kidding)

Hey thanks Chris!
I’ve been ridiculously busy trying to some things up and running so I haven’t been able to make it to the AETO meetings. I still look forward to them every month though and I’m really hoping to make the next one. I hear it’s the 1 year anniversary. Hopefully I catch up with you there.

I just wanted to congratulate you guys on a great job with your compositions. You guys did a fantastic job. Now that CS5 has Freeform AE you guys will have all the Digieffects plug-ins now. Ryan I checked out your demo reel. Great Work!

Thanks a ton Erik. I’m in the middle of finishing some new items to piece a new demo together. My current reel is SD and I want to update it to a HD version asap.
Truly though man, I’m excited that you took the time to check it out my work. Thanks!

nicely done guys …
JD … love your site.

@ JOE, RYAN & SAUL
It would be nice if you could post tutorials detailing how you guys achieved your results. Host them on AETUTS+, digieffects (I’m sure they’d be more than kind to allow it, afterall you are using their products) or if JD will allow it, right here on MW.
Joe, your clip particularly reminds me of something that might be seen on the showreel of some big production houses or TV broadcasters … I think you understand the feel I’m talking about. All those shapes and mattes and twitching which make the final result seem so complex. Nicely done … all of you!

Thanks very much, CD. I’d be happy to create a tutorial if everyone is on board.

Good Idea CD. I’ve already got some Digieffects tutorials in the works, and content in the making for AETUTS. Since it was mentioned about hosting it on Motionworks and because the contest was held through here I think it would be pretty cool to have them on this site. That is of course if John thinks it’s a good idea.

Hey CD, I’ve replied directly to Ryan. Robert at Digieffects would love to host the tutorials. I’ll put a post up linking to them too. Best wishes, John.
