Hm…..was hoping for a real biggie…..like integration of a node based workflow (especially after he mentioned something he’s been wanting for a long time). Or well……..3d of course. Considering photoshop has it (to some extent) and AE could use it even more. All welcome additions here, but nothing to say…..hey boss….we NEED to upgrade NOW!!!!

Besides the 64 Bit Integration – I wonder what it can do what nucleo Pro can´t do…

Bouy, it would have been great if nucleo pro was intergrated with this new release. That background render thing is just salvation from render hell

I think the ROTOBRUSH will help with color Correction, becos now you can separate segments easily and apply separate color and looks with you levels , curves and magic bullets. This is really cool, I always wanted to do this but it felt too tedious.
I like what Treeloy said though I think that will be the next level of evolution for AE

John,
Thanks for the video interview with Michael. It was great to learn a bit more about the roto upgrades… I’m upgrading to CS5 mostly for the Mercury Plaback capability, being a small producer–I’m only working with AVCHD so for me that’s a huge deal.
Interesting about the new ability to take layers and curve, bend in 3D space…
